KIDS CAMP at WaterColor

Camp WaterColor is a home away from home for your young vacationers. Its convenient location to the beach, parks, and other resort amenities make it a great place for children ages 3-12. Kids Camp is available only to Official Vacation Rental guests, Inn guests, & homeowners. With the low counselor to child ratio (8:1), your child will have a fun and safe time meeting other children their age, while exploring their creative, adventurous side. Every day is a new adventure!

RESERVATIONS
Reservations are required for both day and evening sessions. Space is limited so make your reservations early! Guests may make advance reservations by calling 850.534.5975. A Credit Card number is required to secure a reservation. No show, cancellation, and late charges will apply.

WHAT TO WEAR AND BRING TO CAMP
Please send children with a swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen. Croc-type shoes are recommended and it's always best to wear something you don't mind getting a little paint or dirt on! Parents, please have a phone number where you may be reached during camp for emergencies and we ask that campers leave their electronic devices at home.

Camp WaterColor adheres to the same regulations and rules as the public school system. Children must be potty trained and are not permitted to attend camp if they are in a diaper. If your child requires extra assistance please notify the camp staff so that special accommodations may be made.

CAMP SESSIONS

Rates are per child. Extra charges will apply for off-site trips Please respect our drop off and pick up times and be here promptly as no-show, cancellation, and late charges will apply.

Morning Session (AM) 9am-12pm (includes lunch) $45 per child

Afternoon Session (PM) 12pm-3pm $45 per child

Full Day 9am-3pm (includes lunch) $80 per child

Kid's Night Out 5:30pm-9:30pm (includes dinner) $50 per child

*Reservations must be cancelled 24 hours in advance. All reservations that are not cancelled within that time frame are subject to being charged the full price of the scheduled camp session.

CAMP THEMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE DUE TO HOLIDAYS, SPECIAL EVENTS, AND NEW IDEAS!

Treasure Hunters- Come be a pirate for the day as we go on a quest in search of the buried treasure chest. The adventure is endless as we cross trails, beach, and more to reach our destination. A fun filled day of crafts and activities centered on being the ultimate swash-buckling buccaneer!

Around the World- Have you ever wondered how the Native Americans built their tepees or how the Aussies from Down Under throw a boomerang? If so, come take a tour of cultures from around the world! We will discover new and exciting crafts and games through the eyes of explorers that have searched the globe far and wide!

Nifty Nature- Grab your binoculars and come join our wildlife adventure through the natural habitat of Florida! Explore right here at WaterColor as we throw a fishing line in Western Lake, paddle a kayak to the sand dunes, or hike the trails to discover wildlife living right in our back yard!

Weird Science- Abracadabra, slime, and goo! Calling all magicians and scientists to the wonderful world of Camp WaterColor, where anything could happen! Come experiment with us as we make volcanoes erupt and cast spells on the counselors! The world of science and magic collide as we tackle fun myths and projects!

Artsy All Day- Roll up your sleeves, tie on your paint smock and prepare to express your creative side through art! A full day of crafts and projects await each camper, whether you like to paint, sculpt, or draw! We provide you with all the materials and ideas you might ever need to become the next Picasso!

Kids Night Out (KNO)- A fun alternative to the traditional babysitter. This evening program offers kids a chance to enjoy all the great activities that take place here at Camp WaterColor, while parents have the opportunity to enjoy a few hours of "adult time" while on vacation! We provide dinner, crafts, games, and all the fun a camper could ever want!

Afternoon Activities for guests staying at WaterColor, do not require a reservation, and take place at Camp WaterColor. It is not a drop-off program for children.

Fees are associated with these activities - please call 850-534-5975 for rates.

Fall 2011 activities are scheduled Thursday through Saturday from 3:30-4:30 pm (one per day) and will include Sand Art, Make Your Own Hula Hoop, Stepping Stones, Sandy Candy, Airbrush Tattoos, and Tie-Dye T-Shirts.
